About us
Who we are, and four rules we actually hold ourselves to. Not the laminated kind that hang in a lobby.
I founded Butter & Bread Data in 2024. I'm an Industrial Engineer who co-founded a micro-electronics company before moving into data engineering. The company combines public, scraped and internal data into products that answer real commercial questions: who to reach, what is changing, and where the next opportunity sits. We work across cloud data warehouses and local-first stacks, guided by a founder's instinct for what is actually worth building. Every case runs the full distance from first experiment to production-ready product, following four principles.
About the name
Butter & Bread Data is a reminder not to take the name too seriously, and to focus on what actually matters: delivering value to customers.
Business value driven.
Every prototype has to move something real: a faster decision, a lead you'd have missed. We ship results even before they prove out, then iterate on what shows promise and drop what doesn't.
Lab approach.
We're innovators, not consultants. We would rather test a rough prototype with real users than write a report about what might work. We test new data tools ourselves first. You only work with what has already proven itself.
Built with you, not for you.
You know your business, we know the data. No black-box deliveries. We build it together.
No kleine lettertjes.
You pay for what you use, nothing more. Geen verborgen kosten. Just honest pricing.
Honestly provenanced
Innovation only counts if the numbers underneath it hold. Every product is honestly provenanced: no fabricated signals, and every claim traceable to its source. The edge comes from joining sources together with care, so a single question can be answered from angles no dataset covers alone.
Staying ahead, so you don't have to
The data landscape moves fast, and today's cutting-edge tool can be tomorrow's dead end. We treat staying current as part of the job: we scout, evaluate, and test emerging data technologies ourselves before recommending them to a client. That means you get the benefit of what's new and genuinely useful, without carrying the risk of betting on tools that don't hold up.
Power in simplicity. We believe in elegant solutions: do more with less, and build for clarity, efficiency, and lasting impact.
